From Berlin Inspirations to Filipino Favorites

Let me take you back to where it all began, the story of how the Pods menu came to life. Like I mentioned in a past blog, I’m based in Berlin, Germany. Being a total coffee nerd, I made it my personal mission to bounce around the city’s coffee spots, not just to sip great brews, but to check out menus, get inspired, and start dreaming up what would eventually become the Pods lineup.
After who knows how many cups (and a few caffeine crashes), I finally landed on a menu I was really proud of. The only thing? It was very Berlin, all hot drinks, no iced options, and nothing outside of coffee. I genuinely thought I nailed it… until I brought it home to the Philippines.
That’s when I realized the coffee scene back home had a totally different vibe. People love their iced drinks, a little sweetness, and lots of variety. Safe to say, I had to rethink everything.

Back to the drawing board we went. To connect with the local crowd, we knew we had to add cold drinks and non-coffee options. After plenty of tasting and market research, my team and I created a menu we’re proud of balanced flavors with espresso and syrup working perfectly together.
From iced Americano to caffeine-free favorites, there’s something for everyone. And my top pick? The iced latte macchiato just the right sweetness with a bold coffee kick.

Of course, we couldn’t let the coffee have all the glory so we rolled out a lineup of small bites to go with it. Because what’s a great cup of coffee without a little snack to keep it company?
Cookies? Oh, we’ve got ‘em. Classic choco chip, white choco chip, and the dangerously addictive double choco chip. All homemade, all fresh, and all designed to make you accidentally eat three when you only meant to have one.
More of a donut person? Don’t worry we see you. We’ve got those too, because let’s be honest, coffee + donut is basically a love story.
And just like great coffee, our menu story will continue to evolve with time—always brewing up new flavors and ideas for you to enjoy.
